Zarina Wahab on Kangana Ranaut: She was very nice, don't know what happened

Actor Zarina Wahab opened up about Kangana Ranaut during a recent interview. Calling her 'nice', she shared that the actor would often come over to her place, and they shared a cordial relationship. Kangana Ranaut dated Wahab's husband, actor Aditya Pancholi. She also accused him of being abusive.

"I was always nice to Kangana. She often visited my home. She was also very nice. I don’t know what went wrong," Zarina Wahab said during an interview with Lehren. She further added, "I just can say that I could see what he couldn’t. I just thought that time would tell, and I didn't want to say anything."

Kangana Ranaut and Pooja Bedi, who had both dated Pancholi, accused him of being abusive. When Wahab was asked if the actor was an abusive husband, she refuted the claims and said, "He has never been an abusive husband. He is such a sweetheart. Ulta mai maar du use (For once, I might beat him). But, he is very sweet. His girlfriends accused him of these things because they didn’t get what they wanted."

Addressing husband Aditya Pancholi's affairs, she claimed that she has never questioned him about it. "I just look at how he is to me when he comes home," the actor said in Hindi.

Zarina Wahab also called Aditya Pancholi an 'amazing father'. In fact, Wahab even claimed that in the next life, she would want to be born as his son or daughter. When asked how Pacholi is as a husband, she said that he has been good because he did not stop her from doing anything.

"[He is a] good husband because mujhe aaj tak kisi baat ka rok tok nahi kiya (he did not stop me from doing anything till now). He never said 'don't do this or that'," she added.

Aditya Pancholi and Kangana Ranaut were in a relationship for quite some time. In an earlier interview, Pancholi had said, “We were as good as husband and wife. I was actually building a house for both of us on Yari Road. We lived together for three years at a friends' place. Kangana didn't have a penny when I met her. Initially, she was a sweet small town girl. I fell in love with her.”

He also accepted that he had once hit her when he caught her cheating. Kangana, speaking about her relationship with Pancholi, earlier said, "It was a very difficult and very harsh time. I was physically abused. I don’t have to go to details. I felt trapped. You feel people might help you. But there are no free lunches. But when you are going you fall for it. This man who was my father’s age hit me hard on my head when I was 17. I started bleeding. I took out my sandal and hit him head hard, and he started to bleed too. I lodged an FIR against the man."
