What is even an India vs Australia rivalry without some teasing and chattering? The Day 1 of the 1st Test between India and Australia was already spiced up with the juicy, pacy and bouncy track of the Optus Stadium in Perth. The players added more spice to it by engaging in some fun banter during the day’s play. Rishabh Pant and Nathan Lyon engaged in fun chatter and the conversation was over the IPL 2025 mega auction. It seems like not just the fans, experts but the players taking part in the 1st Test are also excited for the auctions. The mega auction will take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, which coincides with Day 3 and Day 4 of the Test match between India and Australia.
Australia’s veteran spinner, Nathan Lyon, took the opportunity to distract Rishabh Pant from batting and asked him as to which team he would be going in after the IPL auction. Pant smirked and said he had no idea. The Australians seemed to be aware of what Pant can pull off and hence kept on distracting him. Even Mitchell Marsh was spotted having a word with Pant.
