and 100 grams of liquid ganja and arrested two individuals in the Mothugudem police station area of ASR district. The arrests occurred during vehicle inspections in front of the Mothugudem police station, where officers discovered the ganja. The suspects, Ansarali Ronakali Sayyed and Yunus Mustaf Shaik, both from Maharashtra, were transporting the ganja from Mothugudem to Lathur, Maharashtra.
They had acquired the drugs from Cak Redly of Kurmanur village, Odisha. Two additional suspects remain at large. The total value of the seized ganja is estimated at 17.60 lakh. Since June 1, the Chinturu circle has seen 16 cases, with 43 arrests and 1670 kilograms of ganja seized. ASP Chinturu, Pankaj Kumar Meena, announced plans to enhance check posts and install CCTV cameras at key junctions to bolster security.
