Payal Malik to divorce Armaan Malik: Never faced so much hate

Former 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' contestant Payal Malik has announced her decision to divorce YouTuber Armaan Malik, disillusioned by the online hate and public scrutiny surrounding their polygamous marriage.

In a recent vlog, Payal addressed the controversy, stating her intention to discuss the situation with Armaan and his other wife, Kritika Malik, once they leave the show. Her priority, she emphasised, is to ensure the well-being of their children.

Payal, who was recently eliminated from 'Bigg Boss OTT 3', opened up about the trolling and the hatred. She said, "I am done with the drama and the hate. As long as it was about me, I was okay, but now hate is coming to my kids. This is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to part ways with Armaan for the same reason. He can stay with Kritika while I’ll take care of the kids."

She continued, "It is pissing me off like anything. Either all three of us get separated, or two of us get separated, or I walk away. This could only turn out like that. They don't know what's transpiring outside. I know what's happening. I've never faced so much hate, so much trolling, so many abuses in my life. My decision is confirmed. We can't subject our children to this."

In an earlier interview with IndiaToday.in, Payal shared about their polygamy, "Our fans would know that we have never spoken about supporting polygamy ever. Be it in our vlogs or interviews, we have never promoted it. Whatever mistake Armaan made, I don't think any man in India should do."

"We managed to sustain it, but I don't think anyone else can do that. I think there's no bigger pain for a woman to have her man get another woman's home. I don't think anyone else can bear it."

Armaan married Payal in 2011. Six years later, Armaan married Payal's best friend Kritika Malik. They are parents to four children; Chirayu, Tuba, Ayan, and Zaid.
