HAZARIBAG:
Oasis School
in Jharkhand's
Hazaribag
, the 'epicentre' of the
NEET-UG paper leak
, served as the
exam centre
on May 25. A total of 701
students
appeared for the exam at this location.
NTA has now released city and exam centre-wise results as per the Supreme Court's directive, revealing that out of the 701 students who took the exam at Oasis School, 19 scored 600 marks or higher, the highest being 687.
The school came under scrutiny when its principal Ahsanul Haq and vice-principal Mohammad Imtiyaz Alam were arrested for their involvement in the leak.
Some students have obtained marks in double digit, lowest being 14. A few also received negative marks, such as -10, -27, -16, -17 and -29.
Hema Mehta, an examinee who had appeared at a centre in Patna and scored 702, told TOI that for admission to govt colleges, one needs a score of 650 or above. "Those scoring around 600 or slightly above would be eligible for private colleges," she said.
