Masseur arrested for giving facial using saliva arrested in Lko after video goes viral

LUCKNOW: A masseur/ barber of a salon in Lucknow was arrested for giving facial massage while using his saliva on a customer in Sushant Golf City police station area.
A case was registered after the customer suspected the barber's mischief and demanded to be shown the CCTV camera footage in which the accused was seen applying his saliva on the customer's face.
The incident took place on June 1 at Prithvi Raj Puram canteen in the area.
"An FIR under the charges of IPC 295 A (malicious act), 269 (act that could spread disease or is dangerous to life) was registered on the complaint given by the customer Pandit Ashish Kumar, a resident of Unnao on Saturday,” said Additional deputy commissioner of police, south Shashank Singh, adding that further action is being taken.

taken the accused Zaid in custody on the customer's complaint on Sunday and was sent for judicial custody," the ADCP added.
The complainant Pandit Ashish Kumar, who works in a canteen, went to the salon for a massage on June 11 in the Ahaimamau area where the accused Zaid is a barber.
The CCTV camera footage which went viral on social media showed Zaid giving massages to the customer in the salon. After some time, he spits on his palm and starts massaging the customer's face. The video also shows him repeating the act two to three times. According to Kumar, he was unaware about the mischief initially but later, he became suspicious of Zaid's act and checked the CCTV installed in the salon and later filed a police complaint.

Only a week later, a similar video of a barber massaging by saliva came to light in Shamli where the employee first applied cream on the customer's face then repeatedly spitting in his palm while massaging his face with the same palm as soon as the customer's eyes closed.
This video was from village Bhandeda Udda under the Bhawan police station area of Shamli. The accused was identified as Amjad, a resident of village Bhandeda. After the video went viral, Shamli police registered a case and arrested the accused.
