A man who was caught filming a video of a woman bathing was tied to a pole and physically assaulted by locals in Karnataka's Hubballi district on Tuesday.
Lad Saab, a resident of Ganesh Pete near Gokul Road, worked as a construction worker (a bar bender) in a building situated in Lohia Nagar.
He had placed his mobile phone in the bathroom window of a neighboring house and was caught while recording the video of the woman bathing.
Upon hearing the woman's outcry, locals swiftly gathered, subdued the accused, tied him to an electric pole, and proceeded to thrash him. Subsequently, the accused was handed over to the police at the old Hubballi station.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated by the police.
