IPL auction is back!
The IPL mini-auction will take place in Dubai on December 19 with 333 players set to go under the gavel. A total of 77 slots are to be filled with up to 30 slotted for overseas players.

All eyes will be on some of the top overseas players from New Zealand, England, Australia and South Africa, who are likely to hog the limelight during the auction.

Travis Head: Base price - Rs 2 crore
The biggest star of 2023, Australia's Travis Head will be on the radar of almost all the franchises at the auction. Man of the Match in WTC Final and ODI World Cup Final, Head has been in top form this year. Head has previously played for RCB and DC.

Mitchell Starc: Base price - Rs 2 crore
Looking to return to IPL after an eight-year hiatus, left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc is expected to break a fierce paddle war at the auction. Starc has previously played for RCB in the IPL.

Rachin Ravindra: Base price - Rs 50 lakh
Indian-origin Kiwi all-rounder Rachin Ravindra seized his chances at the ODI World Cup and emerged as a surprise star in the tournament. The 24-year-old is expected to trigger a bidding war among franchises at the auction.

Gerald Coetzee: Base price - Rs 2 crore
Showcasing superb control and movement, South African Gerald Coetzee finished as the 5th-leading wicket-taker at the World Cup. With his consistency to hit 140-plus kph, he will be on the radar of quite a few franchises.

Pat Cummins: Base price - Rs 2 crore
WTC and ODI World Cup winner in 2023, Australian Pat Cummins has previously earned one of the record bids in IPL. The pacer is once again expected to raise a bidding war on Tuesday. Cummins has played for Delhi and Kolkata franchises in the past.

RCB releasing Wanindu Hasaranga ahead of the auction came as a big surprise for many. The Lankan spinner will be one of the biggest spinners to watch out for at the auction. Hasaranga represented RCB for 2 seasons.

Harry Brook: Base price - Rs 2 crore
After a see-saw 2023 season at SRH, destructive England batter Harry Brook was released by the franchise ahead of the auction. However the 24-year-old can once again expect a bidding war as other franchises will be looking to grab him at the auction.
