NEW DELHI: A heartwarming moment between Mumbai Indians’ former captain Rohit Sharma and

Lucknow Super Giants

skipper Rishabh Pant stole the spotlight on the eve of their Indian Premier League 2025 clash at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.
A video shared by Mumbai Indians on social media showed Pant surprising Rohit by hugging him from behind while he was engaged in a chat with LSG mentor Zaheer Khan.
The clip quickly went viral, capturing the camaraderie between the two Indian cricket stars.

In the video, Rohit can be heard saying, "Jo karna tha, maine kiya barabar. Abhi mereko koi karne ki jarurat nahi hai," before Pant playfully interrupted him with a cheerful "Haanji!" before embracing him.
The lighthearted exchange added a touch of warmth ahead of a crucial fixture for both teams.
