In Ambala City, Sharma puts weight behind BJP’s Goel; Khattar says those sitting on Punjab side of Shambhu wearing mask of farmer

AMBALA:

Haryana Janchetna Party

’s (HJP)

Venod Sharma

has put his weight behind Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

Ambala City

candidate

Aseem Goel

, during a joint party workers’ meeting held in Aggarwal Bhawan, Sector 9, Ambala City on Tuesday.
Union ministers Manohar Lal Khattar and Dharmendra Pradhan also attended the event, who applauded Venod Sharma for supporting the BJP and said that his influence in the region will surely benefit their party.

The Union ministers guided the workers of BJP and HJP about how to run the election campaign to ensure victory of the party candidate. They asked the workers to keep a target of bagging more than 50% vote share in the state assembly from Ambala City and to reach out to people with the pro-people works and schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last 10 years.
They said the workers will also have to share information to the general public in comparison about which party is working in the interest of the country and which is not.

Manohar Lal Khattar said, “Congress people are only vocal and only have slogans that they will win but no other issues to take up. They have no ground as base and are moving towards defeat. That is why Congress has been making efforts to reach an alliance for the last one month, but nobody raised their hand towards them. BJP will win in Haryana and the public here is aware. Haryana’s psyche is that it will form a government of the party which is ruling in the Centre and people are smart enough to understand that this will benefit them.”

Khattar said, “It is for the first time that we (BJP) are fighting elections jointly with Venod Sharma, Kartikeya Sharma and Shakti Rani Sharma (of HJP). This unity will benefit the BJP greatly in this seat (Ambala City) and also Kalka.”
Terming the closure of

Shambhu border

with neighbouring Punjab state as a big problem, Khattar said, “We had made a scheme to open this passage. But people sitting on the other (Punjab) side, who are not farmers but some people wearing farmer's masks, want to disturb the system. There is no need to go in detail, you know who those people are. People of Haryana are happy that you did not allow such wrong men to enter and laid a strong blockade. We were moving ahead but the matter went to the courts and now the case is with the Supreme Court. It formed a committee which is working out to find a solution. Those people sitting in masks of farmers will also have to submit some of their documents or affidavit that these are some Maryadas (conduct), whosoever violates them the court will take cognizance.”
“Next hearing (in the Shambhu border matter) is on September 25, we expect an early solution and relief to you people. But it should be noted that the court will not allow the opening of the border without conditions as last time they had committed serious violence at the Red Fort. No farmer will do so and disrespect the nation by climbing the Red Fort. The nation will not bear this disrespect”, further added Khattar.
Dharmendra Pradhan and Venod Sharma also addressed the gathering.
Venod Sharma said, “I fully support Aseem Goel. We will work to ensure victory of BJP candidates anywhere in Haryana.”
Targeting Congress, Venod Sharma said, “Congress does politics of misleading. On what basis Congress is claiming to form government when in the recent Lok Sabha election people have given mandate to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre.”
