Hundreds of firefighters respond to massive warehouse fire in New Jersey

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (PIX11) – A massive fire broke out at a warehouse in North Brunswick, New Jersey, Wednesday evening, officials said.

Hundreds of firefighters responded to the fire at a warehouse near Georges Road and Nassau Street. Firefighters from surrounding areas also responded to the blaze, according to a volunteer fire company in Hillsborough Township.

In drone footage, the massive fire can be seen illuminating the night sky.

Currently, no injuries have been reported, according to officials. It remains unclear what sparked the blaze.

Police and fire personnel requested that motorists and pedestrians avoid the area and use an alternate route until further notice.
