NEW YORK (PIX11) – A son is accused of fatally stabbing his mother and father, both 75 years old, in Brooklyn on Saturday, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a call about an assault in progress at a 45th Street home around 5:20 p.m., according to authorities. When officers arrived, they found Jacob and Rachel Sperber with multiple stab wounds to the torso, police said.
The couple was transported by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center where they were both pronounced dead, according to authorities.
Police said they arrested the couple's son, 46-year-old Meyer Sperber, on Sunday. He's been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to authorities.
