Panaji:Cyclonic storm Fengal
, which intensified from a deep depression over southwest Bay of Bengal, may not affect Goa much, despite apprehensions on social media. India Meteorological Department (IMD), Panaji, said the light to moderate rainfall is likely on Dec 3 and 4. While the Panaji centre had earlier forecast rain in a few places on Dec 2 and 3, the system, which had started moving at 15km per hour on Friday, has slowed down to a speed of 7km per hour. The weather conditions in Goa remain unchanged, as the minimum temperature came down to 20 degrees celsius on Saturday, 1.8 degrees below normal, while the maximum temperature was 32.2 degrees celsius, just 1.2 degrees below normal. During the next few days, the mercury is likely to hover around 33 degrees celsius during daytime and 20 degrees celsius during the night hours.
