on July 19 to commemorate the 248th year of

American independence

. The outgoing Consul General of US in Kolkata, Melinda Pavek, reflected on the long

diplomatic ties

between the two nations in presence of

, Ambassador of the USA to India, and BP Gopalika, IAS, chief secretary, WB.
