constituencies of Andhra Pradesh in India. It comprises seven assembly segments including Srungavarapukota, Bheemili, Visakhapatnam East, Visakhapatnam South, Visakhapatnam North, Visakhapatnam West, and Gajuwaka and it belongs to Visakhapatnam district.
Candidates

This year from the Visakhapatnam constituency,

P Sathyanarayana Reddy

, representing the Indian National Congress,

M Sri Bharath

from the Telugu Desam Party, and

Dr Botsa Jhansi Laxmi

, a candidate of the YSRCP, are the notable contenders vying for the Lok Sabha seat in the forthcoming election.

Lok Sabha 2019 election result

In 2019, Visakhapatnam parliamentary constituency had total 1829300 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1239754. Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party candidate M V V Satyanarayana won and became MP from this seat. He secured total 436906 votes. Telugu Desam candidate Bharat Mathukumilli stood second with total 432492 votes. He lost by 4414 votes.
Voting date and result
The Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to vote on 13th May 2024, with the Election Commission announcing results on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
