NEW YORK (PIX11) – At least six people, including three firefighters, were injured in a fire at a Bronx apartment building on Monday, according to the FDNY.

The fire broke out on Boynton Avenue around 10 p.m. Fire officials said the blaze broke out on the second floor of the building.

NYPD to form task force to combat drag racing, highway takeovers

Over 130 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene, the FDNY said. Fire officials said crews were able to put out the fire within a few hours.

All of the victims have non-life-threatening injuries, according to the FDNY.
