BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A child was shot in the Bronx Saturday evening, according to the NYPD.
The 11-year-old was shot around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near East 188th Street and Park Avenue in the Bronx, police said. They were taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police did not immediately know what led up to the shooting, and have not caught the shooter Sunday, police said.
Another teenager was shot in Fort Greene late Saturday night in an unrelated incident, according to police. The 16-year-old was pronounced dead after being shot in the chest, police said.
