Kangana Ranaut, who is known to speak her mind, had attended a screening of Raazi in 2018. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the spy thriller featured Alia Bhatt in the lead role, and was a commercial hit, with Alia garnering rave reviews for her performance. Kangana saw the film shortly after its release, and publicly lauded Alia Bhatt's performance. In a video posted on YouTube at the time, Kangana spoke with reporters outside the theater, referring to Alia as "the queen."
“I really liked Raazi.
A splendid job by Meghna Gulzar,” Kangana told the media. She added, “I have no words (for Alia), she is so good. Meghna and Alia had called me for a trial (preview) but I couldn’t attend it because I was shooting at the time. But I promised them that I would see it soon. She (Alia) is the crowned queen, undisputed queen most definitely. It’s Alia’s world and we are just living in it,” Kangana said.
On the other hand, amid her political commitments, Kangana Ranaut recently returned to her hometown and undertook a heartfelt gesture by planting a tree in her courtyard. She also dedicated to her mother.

Kangana shared on her social media platform that
nature's nurturing love
parallels a mother's affection. She encouraged her followers to plant trees and dedicate them to their mothers.
She dropped pictures of her planting the tree, and wrote, “Well planting trees is my favorite thing to do because there is no one in the world except trees who only give you and want nothing from you in return, becoming flowers, fruit, shade, oxygen, rain and fuel for you after it die. The love of trees is as selfless as a mother's love. So a tree for mother too(sic).” She named the tree after her

The 'Queen' star also gave a sneak peek of her courtyard and captioned, “Trees are my favourite people.” The actress frequently cites her mother, Asha Ranaut, as a significant source of inspiration, acknowledging her influence on both her personal life and career.
Earlier yesterday, she also penned a note of appreciation for

. “I haven’t followed much of Meena ji’s work but I read a lot and she seemed highly celebrated for her craft. This hair-raising transition from grief to hysterical chuckle to sheer disillusionment is beyond supreme. Apparently in her days one didn’t dare call other

actresses, media and film industry said they are all heroines, there is one actress and that is Meena Kumari”.
