Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's son, Taimur Ali Khan, is receiving cricket coaching at the ICM Cricket Academy in London. The academy shared pictures of the seven-year-old Taimur as he prepared to play the sport. It also posted a video where Saif is recounting his family's history with cricket.

In the video, Saif explains what counties are to Taimur: "Counties are like clubs, such as Sussex and Worcestershire. Your great-grandfather played for Worcestershire, and your grandfather captained Sussex," says Saif. As Taimur listens attentively, his coach is intrigued by Saif's insights and asks the actor, "Is that right?" Saif nods affirmatively.

In another video, Taimur tries to bowl his father out with a yorker. The video caught the attention of people on the internet. One of them commented on the video, "That was actually almost there!! Love this kid (sic).' Another wrote, "That wasn’t almost, that was perfect (sic)."

Saif's great-grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, captained the Indian cricket team in 1946 and played Test cricket for England in 1932 and 1934. Saif's father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, known as Tiger Pataudi, also captained the Indian cricket team and married Bollywood actor Sharmila Tagore.

In another post by ICM Cricket Academy, Taimur is seen wearing cricket gear as his coach teaches him the proper way to hold a bat. Other photos show him getting ready to play the sport.

Not only Taimur, but Saif's other son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, also enjoys playing cricket. Ibrahim has often been photographed playing cricket with his friends. In fact, his grandmother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore mentioned on Kareena Kapoor’s talk show, “Ibrahim is the only one who looks like a Pataudi. He is quite tall and he loves cricket.”

Ibrahim is Saif's son from his first marriage to actor Amrita Singh. The two divorced in 2004, and Saif later married Kareena Kapoor in 2012.
