NEW DELHI:

Virat Kohli

not only captivates the hearts of his fans with his performances, but the star batter's on-field demeanour also reflects his kindness as a human being.
Kohli's gentle side was witnessed during the second T20I against Afghanistan in Indore on Sunday when a

young fan

managed to breach security to touch his feet and embrace the former Indian skipper.

Security personnel promptly detained him at the boundary but Kohli intervened, urging them to show kindness towards the fan.

According to a police official, the young man, who appeared to be a devoted Kohli fan, possessed a valid ticket for the match and gained entry to the

Holkar Stadium

through the Narendra Hirwani Gate.
The official mentioned that the fan, fueled by a strong desire to meet the player, accessed the ground by scaling the fence of the spectators' gallery.
The officer said that the youth was being interrogated.
