Jets projected to earn multiple compensatory picks at 2026 NFL draft

6 hours ago 5

The 2026 NFL draft is a long ways away and a lot will unfold before then.

But once that draft rolls around, the New York Jets might have a couple extra selections to work worth thanks to compensatory picks.

The NFL awards those selections for teams based on losses in free agency during the prior offseason. The exact formula is unknown, but Over The Cap's projection has New York earning a couple of comp picks.

Currently the Jets hold their own selections in Rounds 1, 2, 4 and 6 in 2026. In addition, New York holds three extra sixth rounders from the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills via various trades previously made.

On top of that, OTC predicts the Jets could earn these extra comp picks:

A look ahead to the 2026 draft: The Jets are projected to have three compensatory picks -- fourth round (Haason Reddick), seventh (Tyler Conklin) and seventh (Solomon Thomas). They finally get something out of the Reddick trade.
