Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently reacted to a video which is being widely shared on the internet. The clip is of an elderly European man singing the iconic Bollywood song "Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein" from the film Kabhi Kabhie, featuring Big B, Rakhee and Sashi Kapoor.
In a post shared by a fan page on X, a European man is seen singing ‘Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein’. The video features an older gentleman in Europe strumming a guitar and performing the song in imperfect Hindi.
The original caption read, "Amitabh Bachchan's global fan base knows no bounds, not even in Europe!" Later, Amitabh Bachchan retweeted the post, exclaiming, "Incredible! 'Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein' being enjoyed in Europe!! (sic)."
Yash Chopra directed the 1976 film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Rakhee Gulzar, Neetu Kapoor, and Simi Grewal in pivotal roles. The song "Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein" was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh, with lyrics by the renowned poet, Sahir Ludhianvi.
Amitabh Bachchan was seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, wherein he played the role of Ashwathama, alongside Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Mrunal Thakur among others.
