NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The weekend warmup continues with temperatures expected to reach 74 degrees Sunday in the city.
This is due to high pressure blowing in winds from the south, which also keeps the skies clear. Without any clouds, temperatures will dip down again Sunday evening with some areas seeing low temperatures in the 30s.
Monday will be even warmer and summer-like with highs reaching the upper 70s, possibly even the low 80s in some areas. This warm and dry weather continues into Tuesday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
Wednesday remains mild with above-seasonal temperatures, but that all changes as a cold front moves through on Thursday. It will become considerably cooler in the 60s and mid-50s in some spots. Associated showers are expected to sail to the north at this time.
Friday and Saturday remain cool with a high of around 60. The sunshine and gorgeous weather will continue all the way through next weekend.
