UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- An investigation is underway as two people were shot on the Upper West Side Sunday evening, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 7:43 p.m.
Police say the shooting happened at a convenience store at 653 Amsterdam Avenue between West 91st and West 92nd Streets.
One of the victims, a 16-year-old boy, was shot in the stomach, police say. Both victims were taken to local hospitals.
No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.
