Thane school teacher held for molesting 7-year-old girl

MUMBAI: A school teacher has been arrested for allegedly molesting a

7-year-old girl

student inside the school in

Ulhasnagar

.
On the complaint of the

minor girl

's family, the

local police

have registered a case against the teacher and arrested him.
The incident took place in a school located in Ulhasnagar during school hours when the accused molested the girl.

When the girl's family came to know about this from the girl, they approached the local Hill Line Police on Thursday. The police took action in the case and arrested the

accused teacher

.
Police said that they have arrested the accused under the POCSO Act.
(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
