Teen stabbed in Times Square: police

TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (PIX11) – A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in Times Square Thursday evening, police said.

The stabbing happened in front of 251 West 42nd St. around 5:30 p.m., according to the NYPD. The teen was stabbed in his lower back, police said.

A person of interest was taken into custody, authorities said.
