Teen shot twice on Manhattan street: NYPD

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan (PIX11) --- A 17-year-old boy was shot twice on a Manhattan street Sunday night, police said.

The teen was struck in the torso near West 186th Street and Wadsworth Avene in Washington Heights at around 9:45 p.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police are searching for two teens who ran from the scene after the incident, according to the NYPD. There have been no arrests.
