NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has released hundreds of limited edition MetroCards featuring everything from Ice Spice to the city's sports teams.

MTA will only release two more ‘collectible MetroCards,’ agency says

The "Inaugural Limited Edition MetroCard" was released as a four-card set in January 1994. They featured a $1.25 card with Grand Central Station on it—a $5 card with a 90s skyline of New York City. Brookfield Place is featured on a $10 card, and Times Square is featured on a $20 card.

A set of the cards sold on eBay for over $50 last month by user hoffie3189.
