MIDTOWN NORTH, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A 42-year-old man was stabbed in Midtown North Sunday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 4:33 p.m.
The suspect demanded the victim's cell phone before stabbing him in the left side of the torso, police say.
EMS took the victim to a local hospital.
The suspect, who was wearing all black, fled north on 10th Avenue, police say. Investigations into the stabbing are ongoing.
