Student arrested for reckless driving in Mumbai

for driving in a reckless and careless manner, which led to a collision with a stationary SUV near the Domestic Airport Gate No. 8 on the Kalina side on Friday at 11:15 pm. The SUV, which was a pilot vehicle, was waiting to pick up the deputy chief minister who was expected to arrive in Mumbai.
Police constable Gurunath Narvekar (47), who was on night duty, arrived at the scene after receiving a message from the main police control room about the collision.

Narvekar stated, "The SUV, which was a pilot vehicle, sustained damage to its bumper while awaiting the arrival of the deputy chief minister. The police constable stationed in the SUV promptly contacted the police control room, leading to the arrest."
The incident resulted in damage to the SUV's bumper, and the swift action of the police constable stationed in the vehicle led to the arrest of the reckless driver. The police are investigating the matter further to determine the circumstances that led to the collision and to ensure that appropriate legal action is taken against the offender.
