QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The 49th Queens County St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off on Saturday in Rockaway Beach, Queens.
The parade begins at 1 p.m. at Beach 130th Street and Newport Avenue. The Grand Marshal for this year's parade is Richard Tully Jr. Attendees can expect revelers, marching and bagpipe bands, and more.
The following streets will be closed at the discretion of the NYPD, according to the Department of Transportation.

- Newport Avenue between Beach 129th Street and Beach 130th Street
Route:
- Newport Avenue between Beach 129th Street and Beach 116th Street
- Beach 116th Street between Newport Avenue and Rockaway Beach Boulevard
- Rockaway Beach Boulevard between Beach 116th and Beach 99th Street
- Beach 102nd Street between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Rockaway Freeway
Dispersal:
- Beach 99th Street between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Shore Front Parkway
