THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Yankees fans can snag some last-minute tickets to Monday night's playoff game for cheaper than a regular season game.
The least expensive seats for Game 1 of the ALCS at Yankee Stadium were going for around $102 on StubHub, as of Monday morning. Some tickets were under $100 on Gametime.
The Bronx Bombers are facing the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS. The Yankees are in the ALCS for the second time in three years and the fourth time in eight years.
The Yankees are looking to win their 28th World Series and first since 2009.
Left-hander Carlos Rodón will start Game 1 for New York. Rodón rebounded to a 16-9 record with a 3.96 ERA over 172 innings in 32 starts in his second season with the Yankees after signing a $162 million, six-year contract.
He went 3-8 with a career-worst 6.85 ERA over 14 outings in a 2023 season that didn’t start until July 7 because of a strained left forearm and back stiffness.
