Skoda Auto India
has announced a price hike across its range in the Indian market. The carmaker will increase the ex-showroom prices of the
Skoda Kushaq
,
Slavia
and
Kodiaq
by up to 2 percent, starting from January 1, 2024. The price hike is due to increasing input and operational costs, the company said.
Currently, Skoda's India lineup includes the Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq.
With a 5-star Global NCAP rating, the Skoda Slavia is a five-seater sedan, priced from Rs 10.89 lakh - Rs 19.12 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The Skoda Kushaq is a mid-size SUV, with prices starting from Rs 10.89 lakh and going up to Rs 19.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Coming to the Skoda Kodiaq, its prices range from Rs 38.50 lakh - Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

In recent news development, the car manufacturer introduced the Elegance Editions of the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq in the Indian market. The Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Editions come powered by a 1.5-litre TSI engine and get an 'Elegance' badge on the B-pillar and chrome finish on the front grille, door mouldings and tailgate.
Skoda
joined the list of several car manufacturers, such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Mahindra, MG Motor India, Honda Cars India, Volkswagen, Citroen, Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz, all have already announced a forthcoming price increase.
