Security guard stabs man after argument in the Bronx: sources

MELROSE, The Bronx (PIX11) – A security guard allegedly stabbed a man after the two got into an argument in the Bronx on Wednesday, sources told PIX11 News.

The stabbing happened around 1 p.m. on East 146th Street in Melrose, according to the NYPD. The security guard allegedly stepped outside of a building when he got into a dispute with the victim, sources said.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition, according to authorities.

The security guard is in police custody, per sources. He's expected to be charged with attempted murder, sources said.
