NEW DELHI: The woman

sub-inspector

of the

Karnataka police

department was issued a notice on Wednesday for permitting

Pavithra Gowda

to apply cosmetic products while in police custody, reported news agency ANI.
She was seen applying make up and smiling while returning from her residence when the cops took her to her residence on June 15 to record details of the crime scene.

This sparked a discussion about her apparent lack of remorse regarding the

murder

of Darshan's fan Renukaswamy.
Meanwhile, Pavithra Gowda's mother and daughter visited her at the Central Prison, where she reportedly broke down during the meeting.
Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others have been arrested in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Renukaswamy, a resident of Chitradurga. The investigation revealed that Renukaswamy, a devoted fan of Darshan, had allegedly sent offensive messages to Pavithra Gowda on social media. The victim was reportedly abducted, brought to Bengaluru, held in a shed, and tortured to death.
Darshan will remain in judicial custody until July 4.
