Rash-causing sea lice reported at NJ bay beaches

NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Children at some Jersey Shore beaches have recently gotten skin rashes after swimming in the water.

Last week, the Borough of Highlands in Monmouth County posted a warning about sea lice.

More Local News

There have been reports of bites at multiple beaches song Sandy Hook Bay as well.

Paul Bologna, a professor of biology at Montclair State University, joined PIX11 News to discuss sea lice.
