Rapper Remy Ma's son charged with murder in 2021 Queens shooting: sources

SOUTH OZONE PARK, Queens (PIX11) – Rapper Remy Ma's son was arrested on Tuesday in connection to a 2021 Queens shooting, sources told PIX11 News.

Jayson Scott, 23, was charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to the NYPD.

Darius Guillebeaux, 47, was shot and killed back on June 7, 2021 in the South Ozone Park neighborhood of Queens. He suffered from multiple gunshots to his head and chest, according to authorities.

Scott was already in police custody for having a loaded gun when he was arrested for the 2021 homicide, sources said. He has several prior arrests, and DNA connected him to Guillebeaux's death, according to sources.

Richard Swygert, 22, was also arrested in the 2021 shooting. He was also charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to authorities.

Swygert was also in police custody when he was charged in Guillebeaux's death, according to sources. He was previously arrested in connection to a January 2021 homicide, sources said.
