QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- After much sizzling anticipation, the competition to determine the best burger in Queens has finally come to a close.
Twelve eateries faced off in the inaugural Queens' Best Burger Competition, but in the end, Donovan's Pub in Woodside emerged triumphant.
Over 3,000 votes were submitted between June 6 and 14. Rounding out the top three are Ryan’s Irish Bar and Grill in Bayside and Acey Ducey’s in Forest Hills.
"We are delighted to honor Donovan's Pub as the inaugural winner of the Queens' Best Burger Competition. This recognition is a testament to their commitment to serving up delicious versions of a summer staple," said Tom Grech, President and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce. "I suggest everyone go check them out!"
Donovan's Pub also received a plaque and a complimentary year of membership to the Queens Chamber of Commerce. Ryan’s Irish Bar and Grill in Bayside and Acey Ducey’s also received certificates.
