The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday raided 10 locations across Jammu and Kashmir in connection with cases related to terrorism and radicalisation of individuals.

The raids in Gujjar Nagar, located on the outskirts of Jammu city, were carried out in connection with a case involving the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) terrorist group.

In Kashmir, the probe agency searched the premises of JeI-linked people in Kulgam district's Tarigam and Kahrot villages.

It was not immediately known if the NIA had made any arrests or discovered incriminating materials during the Saturday raids.
