JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) – Police shot an armed person in Queens where three people were found stabbed Thursday, police sources said.
The incident happened at 94th Avenue and Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica around 5:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.
One of the stabbing victims is a young child, police sources said.
"Due to a police investigation in the [NYPD's 103rd precinct], avoid the area surrounding of 94th Avenue and Sutphin Blvd in Queens. Expect a police presence & residual traffic delays in the surrounding area," the NYPD shared on social media.
