RANDALL'S ISLAND – Some happy couples caught more than Pikachu at this year's Pokémon GO Fest.
Five different couples got engaged at the four-day-long festival, which takes place at Randall's Island and leads players across New York City.
During the magic moments, some couples referenced the game being a part of their relationship.
"I love you, I've had so much fun playing Pokémon with you, will you marry me?" Neil asked his girlfriend, Gillian, with Pikachu as their witness.
"Of course," Gillian said.
The proposals were planned with the help of the Pokémon GO Festival staff.
"I'm so honored to be even a little part of someone's love story," said Divya Erram, global lead for the Pokémon Go Festival.
"The fact that we've had so many marriage proposals, marriages and weddings happen at our events, but now we get to offer this exclusive experience for them, makes it all the more better for them and us."
