Person shot in Manhattan: FDNY

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A person was shot in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday night, according to officials.

The shooting happened when a 33-year-old man got into an argument with another man around West 33rd Street and Broadway near Herald Square around 8 p.m., according to the FDNY. The man was shot once in the leg, according to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries., officials said.
