NEW DELHI: The second Test against India in Adelaide turned into a memorable outing for Australian skipper Pat Cummins as he delivered a match-winning five-wicket haul, his eighth as captain.
In India’s second innings, desperately seeking a solid lead, Cummins led the charge, dismantling their batting line-up with figures of 5/57 in 14 overs at an economy rate of 4.10.
Cummins' victims included KL Rahul, skipper Rohit Sharma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Harshit Rana. India managed only an 18-run lead.
