Off-duty NYC employee arrested in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty New York City employee was arrested in the Bronx early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.

Darlene Brockington, 43, was taken into custody around 12:30 a.m.

Brockington, a custodial supervisor for the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

A child called 911 during an argument and accused Brockington of wrongdoing, sources told PIX11 News.
