NEW YORK (PIX11) -- A free job placement program in New York City has helped thousands of people find work.

The New York City Human Resources Administration's Business Link program offers free job placement to people receiving cash assistance, SNAP, housing support or other forms of financial assistance.

Many of the available jobs are within the industries of home health care, security, culinary, maintenance, retail, and customer service, among others. Jobs range from entry level to professional.
