NEW DELHI:

Pakistan's team

director,

Mohammad Hafeez

, became the target of social media banter after reports surfaced that he missed his flight to Sydney ahead of the

third Test

against Australia.
The news was met with humorous comments, particularly from the 'X' handle of

Iceland cricket

, known for its sarcastic and witty posts. The handle quipped, "All that talent, and now even the Aussie airlines are out to get him!"

Hafeez, who missed the flight along with his wife, was supposed to travel with the Pakistan team for the final Test against Australia.

Australia have already secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Sources from Geo News revealed that Hafeez arrived late at the airport, resulting in the staff denying him and his wife boarding on the scheduled flight. They eventually caught another flight to Sydney hours later.
