from NDA and teaming up with RJD and Congress, resigned as party chief on Friday after consistently denying reports of his stepping down. Singh proposed the name of CM Nitish Kumar for the JD(U) chief's post at the national executive, which was passed unanimously. Singh spoke about how he was urging the CM to relieve him from the post so he could spend more time in his LS constituency.
