THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The New York Yankees are making changes to their iconic uniform, the team confirmed to PIX11 Sports.

The changes are reportedly coming to the road greys donned by the Bronx Bombers. The change was noticed in the 2024 MLB Style Guide obtained by Uni-Watch.com. The changes include removing the white piping along the lettering on the front of the jersey and the number on the back of the jersey is gone, along with the trim on the sleeves.

Uni Watch also reported the New York Mets' City Connect uniform would be worn by the Mets in April when the team faces the St. Louis Cardinals in the regular season.
