New York City Council holds oversight hearing following NYCHA bribe scandal

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- A city council committee held a hearing today looking for ways to avoid another scandal that rocked the New York City Housing Authority a couple of weeks ago. 

Dozens of employees were arrested and charged with lining their pockets with a couple of million dollars in bribes, from contractors who received lucrative contracts.
