LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Nassau County lawmakers voted to pass a ban on transgender girls and women using public athletic facilities.
The vote passed 12 to 6. After the vote, dozens of people in the gallery stood up and yelled, “Shame! Shame! Shame!”
